FAQs

Our IOP/PHP is designed for individuals, especially youth, who struggle with emotional or behavioral issues that impact their daily lives. This includes those who may not require 24-hour supervision but do need a more structured level of support than traditional therapy can provide.

IOP/PHPs offer a more intensive treatment model than weekly therapy sessions, involving multiple therapy sessions per week, psychiatric care, medication management, and regular on-site assessments. Clients receive individualized attention within a structured program.

Psychiatric care and medication management Individual, group, and family therapy sessions, Psychoeducation workshops, Coping skills training, Case management and support

Clients typically attend the program up to five days a week for several hours each day. However, the specific schedule may be customized based on individual needs and treatment goals.

The duration of the IOP/PHP varies based on each client’s progress and specific treatment needs. Most clients participate for a period of 8–12 weeks, though this may be adjusted based on therapeutic recommendations.

Yes, our program includes regular meetings with a psychiatrist for evaluations and medication management, if necessary. Our goal is to ensure each client’s psychiatric care is fully integrated with their therapeutic treatment.

Family involvement is encouraged as it can greatly benefit the client’s recovery process. We offer family therapy sessions and psychoeducation to help family members understand how best to support their loved one.

An IOP generally involves fewer hours per week than a PHP and allows clients more flexibility to maintain their usual daily activities. A PHP typically provides care up to five days a week, all day, and may serve as a step-down from inpatient care or a step-up from IOP.

Our staff can assess your individual needs during an initial evaluation. If you require a structured and supportive environment but don’t need inpatient care, the IOP/PHP may be an ideal fit for you.

Many insurance providers cover IOP/PHP services. Our intake staff can assist you in determining coverage and navigating the insurance process.

Yes, many clients continue to work or go to school while in the program. The IOP/PHP schedule is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring adequate treatment time.

Upon completion, clients transition to regular outpatient care or other appropriate services based on their progress. We offer support to ensure a smooth transition to less intensive levels of care.
